Cybersecurity for Small Businesses
Small businesses are targeted because they are easier, not because they are interesting. Most break-ins start with a weak password, an unpatched computer or one convincing email.
What we put in place
- Firewalls installed and configured
- Antivirus and security software set up properly
- Threat monitoring
- Updates applied on every computer
- Strong passwords and two-step sign-in for email and cloud accounts
- Backups that ransomware cannot reach
If something has already happened
- Disconnect the affected computer from the network.
- Do not pay a ransom and do not wipe anything.
- Call (213) 986-4855.
- We contain it, remove it, recover what can be recovered and close the way it got in.
A security check
A technician visits, reviews the computers, accounts and network against our security checklist, fixes what can be fixed on the spot and gives you a short list of anything that needs a decision.

Questions
We are a small office. Would anyone bother attacking us?
Yes. Most attacks are automated and do not choose their targets.
Do Macs need protection?
Yes. Macs get malware too.
Can you train our staff?
We can walk your team through the handful of habits that stop most attacks.
Book a visit or a pickup
Call us or book online and tell us the make, the model and what is going wrong. For IT support a technician comes to your home or office. For a repair we pick the computer up from your door, fix it at our own workshop in Burbank and bring it back. We have no storefront, so there is nowhere to drop a machine off. Outside our area, you can mail it to us.
