Backup and Disaster Recovery
A backup only counts if it ran last night and can be restored today. We set backups up, watch them, and prove that your files come back.
What we set up
- Automatic backups for PCs, Macs, servers and NAS units
- A local copy for speed and a cloud copy for safety, on Azure or AWS
- Monitoring, with failures fixed before you notice
- Test restores on a schedule
- A written recovery plan: who does what if the office is lost
The rule we work to
Three copies of anything that matters, on two kinds of storage, with one of them somewhere else. A NAS in the same room as the computers is one copy, not three.
How we start
With an on-site consultation. We look at what you have and what you cannot afford to lose, and install a backup sized to that.

Questions
Is a NAS in the office a backup?
Not by itself. It can fail, be stolen or burn with everything else.
How often should backups run?
For most offices, at least nightly, with important files copied through the day.
What if the worst has already happened?
See data recovery. We recover data from failed drives, RAID arrays and NAS units.
Book a visit or a pickup
Call us or book online and tell us the make, the model and what is going wrong. For IT support a technician comes to your home or office. For a repair we pick the computer up from your door, fix it at our own workshop in Burbank and bring it back. We have no storefront, so there is nowhere to drop a machine off. Outside our area, you can mail it to us.
