HPE ProLiant Data Recovery
HP and HPE ProLiant servers, from the small MicroServer to the DL380, are the other server family we see most in small businesses.
HPE ProLiant models we recover
- MicroServer: Gen8, Gen10, Gen10 Plus, Gen10 Plus v2
- Tower: ML30, ML110, ML310e, ML350 (Gen9, Gen10, Gen10 Plus)
- Rack: DL20, DL160, DL360, DL380 (Gen8 to Gen10 Plus)
- RAID controllers: Smart Array B120i, P222, P408i, P420i, P440ar, P816i, E208i
How these fail
- Failed logical drive. The Smart Array has marked the array failed. Do not re-enable it or create a new one.
- MicroServer with software RAID. The B120i is a software-assisted controller, and arrays on it need careful handling.
- Cache battery warnings. A failed cache module can corrupt recent writes; note any warning shown at startup.
Before you send it
- Switch the device off and leave it off.
- Do not format, initialize or run repair tools.
- For a NAS, RAID or server, send every drive, numbered by bay or slot.
- Tell us which files or folders matter most.
Questions
The server shows a 1785 or 1779 drive array error. What does it mean?
The controller cannot find or trust the array. Photograph the message and power down.
Do you support old HP ProLiant generations?
Yes, including Gen8 and earlier.
Book a visit or a pickup
